New Site Design!

Hey all! Just updated my site design, and expanded it to include some of the work I've done in the year since I last updated it. What do you think of it?

After a couple years of solid full-time design work, I've begun opening myself up to more freelance projects, and step one for landing a freelance project is having a killer website portfolio! Thanks to a few days of effort, I know have that :)

Please take a look around! Check out all the sections - maybe some you hadn't considered me for in the past? There's lots of good stuff here, so take a look! Maybe something we work on together will be added in the future.

Desktop - 7-11-16

Finally got around to customizing my desktop on my laptop. I used a number of resources from DeviantArt, and customization programs such as RocketDock and Rainmeter, as well as some custom themes. Below the clock on the right is my (currently empty) recycle bin. I used the same image from my desktop in the Windows Mail app for a nice effect. This is all running on Windows 10, which more and more I like more than macOS...

Hey all! It's been a few months since my last update, but what a productive few months! The Little Delivery Boy!

Hey all! Just created a t-shirt design for TeePublic's Black Friday Sale! It's a mash-up of Futurama and Le Petit Prince by Antoine de St-Exupery, featuring Fry catching a ride from the Planet Express Ship in order to deliver his pizza from one small planet to another.

BustedTees / TeePublic

Hey all! It's been ages since my last post, but there are many good reasons for that!  

First and foremost, I moved to New York with my girlfriend and it's been a crazy busy first couple months here. I started work at BustedTees and TeePublic doing graphic design, and it's probably the best job I've ever had. I'll probably update my resume and some of the gallery pages on this site once I get some time.

Anyway, I am now in New York, and available to any locals who may need some freelance art, animation, mograph, or vfx work done :)

Lunchtime 8-Bit Mini-Me

Used my lunch break to do some more pixel art. This is fun! Maybe something besides myself next time :)

Started doing some pixel art recently - it seems to be a skill that's in demand for freelance artists and animators - so naturally I started with a self portrait :) The pixel count might still be a little high, and it's definitely more of a skill than I initially realized, but very fun, too! Planning on working down to lower, 8-bit resolutions in the future. I also included a football player :)

New Website Design!

Hey all! Just decided to spend the evening fixing up the ol' website. It really needed some updates - in content, as well as design - and I was glad I was able to make it happen without too much trouble.

Also, as some of you may know, I've been working for Reading Rainbow the past few weeks, and things are going great there! Everybody's working hard to push out some exciting new content for the fall :) I myself started doing some simple animation for them this week. They seem to be happy with my work, and I feel confident in my ability to be a productive member of the team in whatever they ask me to do.

More updates to come, but in the meantime, just soak in the glory of this new site design...
